Autometer Triple Pillar Install

I am just wrapping up an install on a Z-Series Boost, Tranny and Pyro Gauge install. I have a question about my Pyro.....when I took the kit out of the shipping box the pyro was on about 500 degrees. Now that it is installed it is still at about 500 degrees. I started the truck last night but it did not change. I have not brought the truck up to temp yet as I still need to finish connecting my boost/bolt and line and tranny sender.

Any tips appreciated.

Tom

It turned out to be the 12 volt switched source I tapped...no juice. I could not find a switched 12v wire so I tapped a 12v wire that is not switched. Do you think this is a bad idea? The gauges should not drain my batteries I suppose. Any feedback?

Thanks,

Tom
