arp head studs

Hi I was on the arp web site.which 12mm head studs too use. there is two to chose from.one you tighten too 125 the other 150.which ones are most guys running.any info would be great.

The ARP2000's are the standard grade ones, run around $425 or so. The ARP 625's are the $1000+ studs that you torque to 150. No need to use those unless you are making a monster engine.

True..

And the higher torque of the big-dog studs will increase (slightly) bore distortion caused by the fastener torque.

I'd recommend the big dog ones if a complete rebuild (new bore/hone/pistons/rings), or the milder ones if you're upgrading in-frame.
