I have a 1994 2500 which I purchased an ARB Sahara Bar bumper for but none of the holes in the frame where the bumper brackets are supposed to fasten line up with the holes in the brackets. Has anyone out there had any experience with installing one of these bumpers on the earlier model second generation Dodge Ram diesels? Any input is greatly appreciated.

 

Sounds like to me they sent you the wrong bracket.

Sorry I can't help you, sounds like they sent you the wrong braket too. I am considering that bumber too. How do you like the fit and finish of the bumper?

 

doesn't sound to me like there is any "fit" and if there was he might be able to get it finished...

Well, I finally heard back from ARB. They E-mailed me instructions for modifying the brackets and tow hooks to fit the 1994 through 1997 model Dodge truck. It requires trimming about 1/4 inch off each bracket and drilling two different holes in each bracket and tow hook. I won't get to work on it until this weekend.
