Anyone running dual Optimas?

Red, Yellow, Blue?

Just wondering if they are diesel friendly...

I had one take a crap in my Accord when I had it sit a few weeks in the winter...

Most run the red or yellow tops. My buddy is running twin red's in his truck right now. Not sure how long he's had them but it's been at least 2 years or so.

Yes we all run Optima red tops, this is the only way to go! The best battery for the best diesel!

Two Reds here.30 below and the old girl fires right up. I even left the interior lights on all night in the winter and there was plenty of power to start the truck with no trouble. I would do it again in a heart beat.

Optima red tops=two thumbs up!

Dual reds here also, going on 2 1/2 years. I must give credit to the Mopar's also though. I got four years out of them, never missed a beat also. They were still going strong when I replaced them with the red's. Costco had them for $98.00 apiece back then.

Red tops....they lasted through way too much cranking while chasing down a bad lift pump and never weakened.

Kinda surprised I haven't burnt up the starter contacts yet...

Don't want to hijack the thread, but I am impressed with what I am hearing (reading) in this thread. I have stayed from the optimas because I was told by some good friends of mine, they are one of the highest returned batteries in the market. I took them at their word, but from what I am hearing here, it seems like they hold up fine! I wont be in the market for batteries for at least another year or two, but when its time, I'll have to put the optimas in the running.

I'm getting close to replacing my factory units (4 years old) and I'll be going Optimas.

Haven't decided on red or yellow but I am entertaining going yellow group 31's. Might be a little excessive but I know it will start when that "moment" in time comes.
