I want to relocate the coolant line that runs under the exhaust manifold between the heater core and water pump. Is it ok to use flex copper tubing, 1/2" or 5/8", or is there a reason to use steel like the stock tubing? Will copper cause future problems that I am not thinking of, such as electrolysis type decay?

Any ideas are welcomed.

move them to make room for other experiments, etc.

 

dont see why not, but Id do it with aluminum if it was me. you can get all sorts of bendable tubing from mcmaster-carr.
