ok, i have replaced my lift pump and my injector pump in the last 2,000 miles. i dont have a fp guage yet but im going to get one. i know im not 100% safe just because ive got a new injection pump. but is it likely that im low on fuel pressure? or am i just going parnoid? Thanks

 

Just paranoid. Think how many CTDs are on the road that have no guages at all and are running well over 100K.

 

Agreed. But I'd suggest getting a FP gauge ASAP so that way you know when yours is going out.

 

i read a thread yesterday on here that they have got a fix for the lp's. something about putting the pump in the fuel tank and blocking off the original lp position.

 

Fuel pressure guage is more or less $100. IP in $1,000 or more.
That is easy to figure out!!!

I know a lot of guys who won't spend $$ on a guage because it doesn't make power!!
