Allison MT643 with 6bt... in Blue Bird rv
Hey everyone, been years since ive been on here!. Im doing a 1969 Blue Bird rv cummins swap at our shop. The owner of the rv has purchased an Allison MT643 to go behind the 5.9 cummins. We have the allison bolted up to the cummins using the same adapter plate from the Eaton 5spd that came with the cummins. Only problem now is we are having trouble finding what flex plate is needed and if the current trans adapter were using will actually work for the allison. We have it bolted up for now just for mocking up mounts and fitment.
Anyone ever put this allison behind there cummins??
Thanks
Jason
BTW ill try to upload pics when i get home from work so yall can see the progress

I was playing with the idea of putting a 643 in a swap project so I did some research a while ago...
It should bolt up to a SAE #2 adapter, not sure if that's what the Eaton takes.
For the flex plate, I did a quick search and found this place with at least one used for sale...if you can find an Allison dealer they should be able to get you a new one or at least some part #'s for what you need.
