I just installed 'airtex lift pump, using 1/2 in fuel line all the way from pump to IP. Now I get 18-19 lbs psi at idle, 12-13 at WOT, and 16 cruising down the road at 60. Is this OK for the IP?? will the idle pressure do any harm to IP?

My thinking is the IP is probably loving it.

sounds good to me, as long as your pressure doesn't get down to 5 or below then your fine

 

ive been runnin 23-25psi idle for over a year
