Question AFE vs Scotty

am thinking of putting an AFE intake on my truck, but notice alot of talk about the scotty system on here as well. can some of you with experience with both give me the pros and cons of each...performance, cost, maintainence,etc.

I love my scotty 2. It sucks MASSIVE amounts of cold air with the hole cut. Even without the hole cut, it sucks a ton of air. Do a search for it. Tons of info.

Performance compared with AFE Stage 2 and the SCOTTY 2

Colder air with SCOTTY if hole is cut.
Same throttle response
some where around the same price
Basicly comes down to whether you want a good size blue filter or a cylinder filter with a penguin in the cover....

Scotty II with cowl hole cut!

If the whine is too much for ya just get a TAG....that's what I did and its great!
