AFC arm removal

I have been doing searches for an hour now. By looking at my sig would I see a power gain by gutting the AFC? And is it harmful to have no plate and a gutted AFC? Smoke I can control with my foot but is it worth the power ill gain?

You can modify the AFC inside to get more out of your pump and still have Air Fuel Control, Do you have Govener Springs in it yet?

Take the AFC off, take off the screw on the front of the housing, pull the pin that the screw secured. The foot will drop out. Put the pin and screw back in, put the foot in a safe place.

I ungutted my AFC, notice lower EGT's at WOT, spools easier since I don't have to regulate my right foot as much. Less smoke (which is good and bad). I might regut the AFC once I get my twins on, depending how quickly they spool and smoke control.
