Adrenliane problems? Little help!

Alright so I decide about a few days ago to download the aggressive to see how it was. Because already the stock one could slip my clutch in 6th on the highway. From what Ive heard the aggressive has more smoke an pickup. Thats what I wanted! Well after I ran the update....I was horribly disappointed...I mean at setting 10 it was compare able to the stock setting at 7!

This is what Ive done to trouble shoot. I loaded a the factory settings of there side. Still didnt work or no pull like it once was doing.

I took of the pump tap wire connector an solider it to the wire.

Checked my two power wire. One has power all the time. One is Intg only.

Check my ground works fine.

Checked all my connections.

Finally I had a buddy bring over his truck just like mine but green. I took hit edge comp drag box hooked it up an it could slip the clutch an fat haul A$$ like it was before I got the bright idea to update my chip. Should I call quad an ask them what I should do?

Ok, something is not right, obviously you know that.

What tune did you put back on it? Did you accidentally load a file with de-fueling? Did you check the feature codes to make certain you got a file downloaded? It will run blank if there is a problem without any codes.

Are your gauges working properly? Is there a difference from PL00 to PL02? Is there a difference from PL02 to PL03? Both of these should not be a maybe but a heck yes or no.

Any chance the data link is not plugged in all the way or something silly like that?

Can you load a file with a TT, start the truck then kill it and let it run on the TT. Try and kill it with the accel pedal. This will tell us if we are getting the TPS correctly.

Just read on another thread that one of the power wires might no be hooked up right? If so that will cause it not to work. Fix it and let us know if that worked.

I looked at what code I put on it. I put the bone stock one back on : ADR1000 its not showing codes eiter. Checked the data link connector also.
Im also gonna check the harness for continuity on every wire.

Like I said before the bone stock one would put you in the seat! AWESOME loved it!

As far as the power level its does increase, but as you keep stepping up another power level the increase of power gets smaller an smaller. I checkd the power, like the instructions said put piggy back terminal on the fuse 9 and the other red wire to the battery.

I will load one with a turbo timer on my lunch break.

Alright went out on my break. Loaded up the a new tune aggressive tune with the turbo timer. I loaded this on a different PC too (it did give me an problem trying to load the driver.said it couldn't find a usbsys file, so i found it an selected it) . Still the same thing. I remember before with the factory tune that it had really good throttle response. When it would hit about 1800 rpm is was to the expression BAM! Haulin A$$! Now with the aggressive tune its a gradual increase, seems like the power band it kinda has is only 2200 to 2400...

back to the TT you asked me to load. I used ARD 2006 did like you suggested. Turned the key off and out. Truck was still runing, i tapped the accel pedal and it killed it. Im lost.... Thanks for the help qzilla I really appreciate it.

Do you have injectors?

Just like with any other box out there, you porbably cant supply the fuel the box is requesting with that HO pump... Simply cant provide the fuel requested

I think it was ARD 1000

I just understand it, before i updated it. I would sitting at stop. I would be starting off in second gear. When i would mass it you could hear the tires trying to break loose. An i mean it would put in the seat it was awesome i miss it

Now I do the same thing with the aggressive tune, i just acts like it only got a power puck As far as the comment as i need larger injectors I haven't uploaded the large injector aggressive tune since I dont have injectors. Im getting great fuel flow. Running about 15psi idea an 13 at wot. Also dont think I have any clogged injectors it seems to running fine no sputtering or anything.

I am not sure what to say. It worked and then didn't??

I would call tech support first. If they cannot figure it out they are going to have you send it to us to test, most likely on an actual truck and see what the deal is.

Was't saying you needed larger injectors, was just trying to see what was on your truck... If you put the same file back onto the box and it is still acting different, I'd call tech like quad said..

Well I gave them a call, suppose to give me a shout back. But on the trouble shooting side I tested the harness all the connections an plugs are good all have continuity. But i would have to lean towards a chip problem. I also remember while i was check the harness. That one day when I was leaving home depot that it got stuck on level 6 it couldn't get it to move from it. And the truck wouldn't shut off. So i had to unplug it. I thought it was the TT but I let it run. its was down to 280 deg.. I guess you could say it froze or crashed? But was fine after all of that.
