Adrenaline Question

I have an Adrenaline on my 99 5spd. I've loaded several different tunes into it, including the latest ADRComp3 tune today. It runs fine, but I was just expecting more. There's no noticeable difference in level 2 and level 10! Is everybody's this way? On Quad's site they talk like the Dyno tunes have "Extreme" smoke....lol, I've seen stock 12v's smoke as much as mine on PL10. It won't even slip a stock clutch! Is there something wrong with mine or is it normal? I think the oldschool Comp Drag box makes more power! BTW I have an Air Dog fuel system and the pump wire is soldered just FYI.

If you have no change in power from 2-10, you do not have the pump tap connection. You should be able to feel the power on each level.

You definately have a problem with a connection somewhere. Level 2-10 are way different.

Quad just updated the tunes to keep them from "kicking out." I've had a problem with the tunes not fueling after driving for a while, but after uploading the new COMP tune I haven't had a problem all day. I'd agree with J Lent and say there's a connection problem somewhere.

That's what I thought! So I soldered the wire! Same problem? I don't know how it can get any better??? I've got the 4/9/09 Comp tune in it.

Give Quad a call on Monday. It sounds like the tunes are working now, so maybe he can help you figure out what the problem is.

I know how to solder a wire... I've been in the automotive industry for 10years, building and racing everything from 2500hp drag cars to sled pulling diesel trucks. I know you didn't mean to offend, but seriously!
My wire tap has NEVER worked! From day one when I installed the wire tap, then I soldered it... Installed different tunes and then RE SOLDERED it, even though it was fine the first time. I've double and triple checked every connector and it is grounded to the battery.
Other people have had problems with the pump wire going in and out of power...Mine has NEVER gone past level 2

open the box and see if you have continuity from the pump wire closest to the block all the way to the white rectangular regulator inside of the box. when i got mine that's what was wrong with mine one end came unsodered and lost the connection from day one...
