Add-A-Leaf and Leveling Kit
Add-A-Leaf and Leveling Kit
I got my leveling kit in today. It's got 4 Pro Comp Shocks, 1 Pro Comp steering stabalizer, 2 Skyjacker Springs, and an Add-a-Leaf. All for $365. ;D Now here's my question. Should I put the Add-a-Leaf in or should I leave it out? I know the purpose of the leveling kit is to raise the front level with the bed, but I figure that if they included it in the kit, then it is there for a reason. Yall think I should I add it in? Thanks for the help.
Re:Add-A-Leaf and Leveling Kit
question......is the rear of ur truck really higher than the front?, if not wouldnt putting the leveling kit make it look funny or is that maybe what that add-a-leaf is for ??? Mine truck is just like urs and ive been wanting to do this myself so i can fit 35's but have been worried bout how it would look. hope it works out for u and let us know how it looks
Re:Add-A-Leaf and Leveling Kit
I'll ya know. I got a digital camera so I'll be able to get pics up ASAP. The front of most, if not all, 4x4 Dodge is about 2" lower than the rear. That's because when you add weight in the bed, it levels the truck out. I don't tow anything (maybe a 4 wheeler trailer) so I don't really care.
Re:Add-A-Leaf and Leveling Kit
I'd just do the front first.
See how it sits.
Add the add-a-leaf if the back isn't up as much as you'd like.
(maybe even throw a normal "load" in the bed and see how it sits loaded)
Mine sits at pretty much dead-on-level with the add-a-leaf.
