I have the compass/thermometer in the overhead console and I am wondering if anyone knows what color the dimmer signal wire is for this thing... I am making some color modifications and want it to stay at full brightness all the time.

You might use a multimeter to find out. (it may be orange make sure to test and verify)

 

My 96 manual shows it as an orange wire going to connector terminal 1
