5" stacks OR 4" regular exhaust

ok, I'm straight piped right now with the factory exhaust....love the look of mitered stacks, but I don't really want it to be any louder in the cab than it is now when towing.
Should I go with the stacks, or just a 4" system???
This is also to lower egt's.

I had them but i dont have a back slider but with the windows down it was fairly loud but with the windows up it wasnt bad at all. Keep in mind if you run stacks and have a rear slider you better not leave the rear slider and the side windows down. unless your real good at cleaning a black headliner

Go with the stack. Its great and you will love it. Ive had mine stacked since I've had it. I had a 4" chrome stack, but now I have a 6" which measures 8" at the top. It goes good with it, I was looking at pictures of the 4" and it looked dinky and too small. Go as big as you can, it looks, and sounds better. The smaller the stack, the noiser, in my opinion. PM if you want some plumbing ideas...

Forget the stack(s). They give you NO performance gain and force you to give up bed space.

Of course, the question is really, "How much practicality will I sacrifice in the name of redneck cool?"

The answer to that question is what will determine your stack future!

Not everyone that has a stack is a redneck... thats a stereotype if there was one. Go with what you think looks good. Dont not do it because of what others think...

I have a 4'in straight pipe. I've had it on a year. I'm bored with it. Just ordered 5'in mitre cut stacks last week, they'll be here Thursday.

From the #1 REDNECK, the stacks will be a lot louder when towing, but the real question should be "DO I WANT TO HAVE A COOL LOOKING RIDE OR JUST ANOTHER DODGE DIESEL" that is the real question.

You might be a redneck IF you put big monster stacks on your pickup truck , sounds like a good JEFF FOXWORTHY joke
