Just wondering does anybody know where I can get a stainless 5" tip to fit over my 5" exhaust, I would really like one that turned back like the factory exhaust angle. Also anyone with 5" exhaust that has put a muffler on comment on the sound compared to straight pipe? Mine is straightpiped and was thinking maybe a good muffler would give a better tone, maybe more throaty at higher rpms. THanks alot Jake

 

You should be able to go to your local truck stop and pick up a 5"er for pretty cheap. If you want you could probably get a 6" tip with a 5" reducer 8) but that may be too big for your taste :.

go to a Peterbuilt truck store and get a 6" tip with a 5" reducer. It looks bad a$$! Here's a pic of mine...

I agree!!!

Mine is a 5" tip cut and butt welded to a 5" exhaust pipe. I had to paint the exhaust pipe :-[

are your tips stainless? they look like chrome ones i've been seeing -- chrome are easy to come by, unlike stainless
