im putting a 4k gsk on my 95 and did some reading about it. apparently the motor has a natural harmonic frequency at 4100rpm and the way the one guy put it if u hit that u lose ur motor virtually instantly. will i b having a problem here as im running dangerously close to this destructive value? how do guys run over 5k then?

 

I think the guys who run it past that RPM and survive are the ones that ignore that.

I've had mine well passed that numerous times, and its still alive and kicking. I do have fluid dampers on both engines. But I doubt that is keeping it from exploding.

 

True, you will hear things there that sound nasty and are a little scary, but it will live beyond 4k. Push through.
