Can anyone tell me where I would go to get my 48RE Automatic Transmission completely rebuilt to handle higher torque and horse power as well as an exhaust brake. Jacobs has now informed cummins that they will not be approving their exhaust brakes for the 48RE in 2003. However, if I get the tranny completely overhauled with heavy duty after market components than I should be able to build onto that.
