4.5" Skyjacker lift
4.5" Skyjacker lift
I have a 96 and recently bought this lift (class 1,standard) on ebay. My question to those who are running this lift or something close follows: Are you running 35,36,or 37's? Im looking for a rpm range with 4.10's,36"tires at about 60-65 in DRIVE. Anyone with pics?? :P

There are a few pics of that lift, I don't know if it's the same class, on a 2001 on this link...

I run 36" tires and they will rub in extreme turning...
My lift and Phox's lift both gained us 5 inches in the front and I ended up having to lift the back another inch.

Re:4.5" Skyjacker lift
Thanks for the compliment
My truck is running 355's so my gearing is WAY high.
70mph in OD is only 1550 rpm. I don't even use OD untill I am going over 70 (well over)
I didn't even comment on the rpm thing because you mentioned you have 4:10's.
I do use a TRUSPEED Sensor so that should be accurate.

Yea, what he said concerning RPM's and Truespeed.
I'm seriously thinking about getting longer control arms, bout an inch longer if available,
then I can run 37's or 38's no problem.
Since replacing my front bumper, the tires look too far back in the fenders, and I noticed with my 315's (34.75 inches) I rubbed going into a steep driveway a little fast.
(wheels almost at full lock, hit the inside rear of the fender, just barely)
You'll have to replace the speedometer gear to make your speedometer correct, as you don't have the computerized one.
