3k gsk question
hey all - first time posting on this site. im always on over on tdr under the same name -wdimig - anyway i just recently got my truck dynoed at kauffman motorsports at the fall brawl, and i studied my dyno charts and they indicated that my truck was defueling alot at about 2700rpm. is that a good defuel rpm with the 3k springs, or should it be more? also can i go back in the pump and tighten the springs one, may two clicks, and will that raise the defuel rpm? any thoughts? thanks in advance

Spring for the AFC kit and install the light spring if you want a lot of low end snap and a better balance on the pump. If you tow a heavy load, then use the medium spring to avoid popping a head gasket or stretching the headbolts. After you complete the AFC spring conversion back your governor screws off until they just touch the spacers, and tighten them 4 clicks. That will get you real close to 3,200 rpm before the fueling starts dropping out. Also make sure you have the same number of weights (washers) under each governor screw.
