370 injectors

I am about ready to get some 370 injectors. I was just going to buy the standard ones, for about 400 bones. Will these increase my hp quite a bit? I see injectors that are extrude honed and such for a lot more but I can't afford these, are they that much better? I am looking for a big hp increase are these 370s the way to go?

Re:370 injectors

I love my 370's. I have not tried any of the extrude honed injectors but I have heard that the 370's are right up there with the best of them for the money that you spend. I noticed a good increase in power when I put mine in. Get ready for a bit of smoke and be sure to watch your egt's. Other than that they are a great addition to your truck.

Re:370 injectors

I have seen 1500 deg in a 215 pumped #10 plated 17.5deg timed 97 with a stock turbo and 370's. You can get a pretty useable combo with 16cm turbine housing and HX40 compressor and wheel. The vendor selling you the 370s should be able to fill you in, give me a call or email if you want to talk about it.

Re:370 injectors

Wow I wish my Egts would stay in the 1500 range and I still have stock 215 injectors.

Re:370 injectors

Jambbii,
If you add the 370's to your present set-up, your throttle response will be more sensitive. You'll have to adjust the " habitual foot " accordingly.

Re:370 injectors

Generally, the increased throttle resonse is a good thing. I have noticed some surging when using the cruise control. I think it can be adjusted out though, just haven't had time to mess with it.

Also, I don't know what your climate is like, but be ready for some rough running until some engine temperature is built on colder days.

With the #4, 3K GSK, and the 370s, you'll likely notice your pyro climbing pretty fast.
