Well I just noticed that under light throttle it seems to jump in and out of 2nd. It also seems to be slipping sometimes when in second. What causes this and is it is this bad. How do I fix it. I will call dave G in the morning but he is closed now. Thanks for the help.

 

Adjusting the front band might help, if it does it means the band is wearing and needs to be replaced, there's not much meat on 'em to begin with (overhaul the whole trans if you're going in). I had a 450 hp 440 in my '85 gasser before I got a Cummins, I bent or broke the front band strut 3 times in that thing!
