I wouldn't want to tow with it. My old SB wouldn't spool till about 2k rpm, this one will be worse yet, probably 2200-2300 rpm is my guess. If you were looking to just hot rod around, I'd say try it, but to DD and tow, I would look at something else.

Injectors won't spool a turbo any faster, you need mass flow through the turbine. My 2k with the bullet was with 250hp injectors. Same as it was with the 150hp injectors I had previous. Like I said, I wouldn't tow with it. With that charger, it would be a better candidate for twins, like the BD setup. A 66 paired up with a stock charger wouldn't be too bad.

If you're still looking at 200hp injectors, a 64/71 would be where I would go with it.

I thought that there is a smaller turbine housing available for the HX-55 turbocharger? I hate adapter plates, they always seem to leak. ATS makes a T4 flange exhaust manifold.

I think you would be better off buying a smaller T3 flange turbocharger like Tate posted. Tate's truck can pull more rpm's than our VP has every dreamed, so he has abit more rpm operating range than normal.

Drive it to Airdrie. Mike likes having company, we can get it squared away.
