Do some research and see if Moogs 3500 springs are stronger as in the early rigs. I would imagine you could add spacers if you can find them. Its bascially the same front end set up as a jeep cherokee and that is what lots use to raise them 2".

I put Daystar spacers in mine. I ordered them from one the vendors on this site, Don't recall which though. They are not really 2 inches, more like 1 3/4 inches, but they do make the truck look alot better. In order to install, upper ball joint must be disconnected. I changed upper and lower ball joints at same time, because they needed it. Stock ball joints have no zerk fittings, and after 75k miles they are shot.

I put 2-1/2" in mine, TOO MUCH! So I "shaved" them down to ~1-3/4", and it's almost perfect with the 1-3/4" I put in the back.

There is a pic of it loaded in my gallery, It gives you a general idea of how it looks

HTH,
Chris

Oh nothing much, the nuts on the top ball joint was hitting the spring bucket, and had smashed the nut to about half of what it was. If you could get longer control arms, it would probably work perfect, but not without them!

And the shocks wouldn't reach, had a hard time finding shocks, but I did.
Skyjacker Hydro 7000's,
If you decide to do the lift, and want the part #'s, I can get them.

Any More Questions, Ask Away ,
Chris

AZGEARPRO - you can tell they are shot by raising one front wheel off the ground at a time, and while off the ground pull/push vigorously on top and bottom of tire and look/feel for any play, there should be none. However the easiest way to tell, is take it to an alignment shop, and get them to do a free inspection/estimate on the front end. They will tell you if something is wrong. By the way, the lower ball joints are very tough to change, and will leave you w/very sore muscles.
