19.5's and 245/70 tires....finally...
I run 3.54 gears and a nv5600.......and found a fair deal on 19.5's and tires. The rating is about 4600 per tire. I had 235/85 16 on alcoas. Besides the massive weight difference, looks like mileage is up. I cruise at 1600-1900 now at ussually less then 10 psi where as before I was 1900-2200.....at 10 to 15 psi. The tires are 2.4 inches taller ......truck looks great, can safely tow more, and the mileage up......all good to me.
I was concerned if my truck would pull such a high total gear, I even tested towing a 442 on an open trailer....(went to the track and ran 10.4 135) and the truck is just on the verge of power with this tall total gear so its working great.
