I wish could find Lucas oil in a bottle that big. Down here the largest you can get is a gallon.

Knowing that my truck is in his hands right now is a scary thing for sure. I surely hope he don't disconnect my stacks and put the exhaust up through the hood like that.
He's putting a few extra goodies in it for me while it is out there.

In all seriousness....

The Scheid truck is not just 1000hp.
Its way over 1000hp at the ground.

Certain people can say what they want.
But watch the video, thats all it takes to believe.

Thanks John for posting that!!

It actually looks like he is hitting the brakes at the end of the run....

Does anyone know about how much weight he's pulling? Is it a 5 spd, 6 spd, or auto? And I dont think he's hitting the brakes at the end, it looks more like he's hopping and spinning the tires. Looks incredible. I have been to many tractor pulls but nothing with street trucks, let alone one like that and would that truck even possibly be able to drive down the street with other traffic?

That is not a street driven truck.
NV 4500 5 speed.

He's letting off of the throttle towards the end so he can get stopped in time.
That track ends and goes down hill into a fence.

I was pulling 21000 pounds up over Afton Mountain (6 % grade by about six miles) at 72 MPH sitting on the red line with 30 plus pounds of boost when I think the t-stat stuck. Pretty much end of story.

Video does that truck no justice.........if you haven't seen it come out of the hole in person you are missing out on one of the finer things in life.....it will flat make your hair stand on end, cause you know at anytime it can fly apart.

I've watched on video and of course driven my truck in every way conceivable and mine is like a Tonka Toy compaired to it!

How much weight do they add to the front of the truck to have to pull that much? That was way cool.

Try http://www.scheiddiesel.com/trkpull.htm - to run a cam like Kent's, you'll need extensive engine work. Not limited to fly cut pistons, billet cam bushings, block work, etc...

Haisley Machine also does billet cams... If you call them up, they'll tell you exactly what work needs to be done. www.haisleymachine.com
