#10 and 3k
Nope. See my sig. But I got gauges before I got the rest of my stuff. My EGTs don't get above 1400 when I pull about #8000. Bottom line, I got gauges, let my truck breathe, then got my #10 plate and 3Kgsk.
I agree with 2k.....the #10 shouldn't be any hotter than the #6 and the 3000gsk won't really effect egt's either way.....I would strongly suggest going to a Scotty II intake (or similar) and 4" exhaust if you are towing 17k with fueling upgrades.....these mods will add some egt reduction and get the motor breathing better.....
Just keep the RPm's below 2800-ish, and you'll do fine. My #10 is juuust about full forward, and the EGT's only get hot when I rev it out past 2800..
