You might get more response if you put this in the "12V Eigine and Drivetrain" forum.

IN comparison to a stock truck,

Your truck will be a night and day difference. The GSK will widen the normally narrow power band on your truck and u will be able to free rev the engine much higher than stock.

the ten plate in a stock position will really take that truck up a notch as well. U will feel it.

If you leave your timing at stock your low end power will be there, if you move it up to about 16-16.5 degrees, your low end will suffer a little bit, but ur fuel mileage will go up. Your power band will literally wake up at 1900 or so rpms and fuel hard with a 3K kit to about 3400 rpms...

Hope this helps

Rick

ON Edit: I misread your sig, your six plate should be more aggressive than the ten plate that you request. If you want more low end grunt, consider a starwheel, plate, and AFC adjustment. Make sure that your governer arm is also properly adjusted on the truck.. U might wanna check ur timing too

Rick

Keep the 6, and do a GSK. You may have to adjust your governor arm, but you wont lose any low end doing that.

I'm gonna third keeping your plate, and getting a GSK to widen the powerband.
