From what i found it looks like it starts at 8. Is this correct?? If so, that is when i will plan on getting there. So that leaves me leaving my place around 6. anyone that has been there before and knows better let me know.

I've gone past the raceway dozens of times on the way to Sullivan County.... Rte 61 to Rte 54 to Rt 42; raceway is on the right. I have yet to see any place that lists a start time and/or gate fee. I guess I can call the track and see what they say. I'd guess a tad over 2 hours from Pottstown.

 

Tickets are 10 dollars when purchased online don't know what they are at the gate. It says the gates open at 8 when you go to purchase tickets online. That's the only place I could find a time.

 

Finally found real times i think. Came from Numidia facebook page:

Gates open at 8:00am
Drag Racing at 10:00 am
Sled Pulling at 1:00pm

 

I don't know how meeting up will work out for me. Google has me going on 78 to 61 so the way it has me going is the best route for me. Might be better just for me to meet you there

 

I think tickets are $16 at the gate, but thats just what i heard from a buddy who i'm planning to meet there. Looks like online would be cheaper.

archer and rswoyer- looks like my route would intersect with yours when you get onto 183 outside of Reading, about 30 min from Pottstown. There is a Fisher's Rental Center on the left on 183, I could meet you there at 6:30.

cj5er- Looks like my route (along with others possibley) will intersect yours at 61 and 183 in Schuylkill Haven. If you turn onto 183, there is a Burger King I could meet you at shortly after 7:00.

Let me know if that works for anyone, if not, I guess I'll see you all there.

We could also go up 61 and meet cj5er at the McDonalds right past Cabelas. I don't think it would take us any longer. Google says it is the same amount of time and randomly picks between the two when selecting the route.

I just found out I may have to work saturday morning; I'll let you know Zack, I may have to come up later. Otherwise we could meet up at the WAWA in Douglassville or something. How did you want to get to rt 61? From my place I usually go up through Oley on Rt 73 and come out on rt 61 at the Leesport Farmers Market, or just drive up 422; doesn't matter to me.

It would work better for me to meet off 183 in Reading, then go up to Schulkill Haven. But if you guys take 61 and meet near Cabela's, than I can just meet you all at the Burger King in Schulkill Haven.

 

actually, it would work just the same if I meet you (archer and rswoyer) on 61 by the leesport farmer's market at 6:45, then meet cj5er at the mcd's past cabelas at 7:00. Just let me know which way you are planning to go
