Gear Change in Southeast PA
I am looking at doing a gear changed in my 2001 and was wondering if anyone would be willing to help? I have done gears a few times but not enough that I feel 100% comfortable doing it myself. I have never done it on a truck so I am not familiar doing the front gear change with all of the steering components.
I would be willing to pay someone for their time and can travel to meet. I am looking to learn not just pay someone and pick it up. If you think you would be interested let me know.
Thank you,
Paul

Just wanted to offer you some info. I was going to do some of this stuff my self as well. Rear pinion, front pinion and front air locker. I ended up taking it to have it done simply because dodge is cheap and uses crush sleaves insted of shims. That in my opinion makes the projects a pain and not worth doing. Theres a guy just below lansdale that does good work. If your ok with the crush sleeve and feel confidient you cant get the correct preload on the bearings using that setup then go for it. Good luck!
