Personally, I don't mind it, but some guys are buttholes about it. It kind of is a Marine thing, but I understand how civilians are just trying to be respectful.
Thanks for the info mad. After posting the question here I read some other sites and can understand and respect the meaning of those words between brothers that have served in the Marines.
