Directional Drilling FAIL!!!
First picture is the drill string right smack dab in the middle of the formation.
In the second picture you can see the rig in the background.
Third picture you can see the wash out of the surface. Would have looked like an alien landing when that sucker poked out of the ground.
Happened in Russia.
