Now Tonka is going to have to include new warning on their toys.

 

The Cabo was running full song.(approx 35kts)....stolen & being chased down, the "captain" had no idea where he was and decided to end things this way.

The other was on Autopilot- set for the inlet. Nothing went right after that...too big of hole, everyone startled from sleep, no time to reach the crash valves..all the makings of EPIC Fail.
I have a few more of both events...I have enjoyed this thread & wanted to contribute.....

 

What are crash valves?

 

Plumbed into the main engines raw water cooling intakes, CV's, are basically "Y"s, that when operated, change the source of the engines intakes to open, grated fittings down low in the bilge. This way the engines become very effective bilge pumps.
