Wow Nice Job- Being I Use To Have A Custom Cabinet Shop I Use To Get In To A Lot Of New Builds At All Stages Of Construction- I`m Verry Impressedwith The Framing Job & Engenering Of The Structure-seams To Be A Lot Of Engenering Borrowed From Post & Beam Construction - There Is A Lot Of Beautiful Work There- You Have A Right To Be Verry Proud.

Sweet pics, all of them. HillBilly, I have always wanted to get into heavy hauling like that, but most companies around here tell me to scoot because I have no experience. Who knows, may get a job this year driving a roll-off just to get experience, and go from there. Is that your rig?

Haha, Ya I want one too, Unfortunatly for now I can only afford to build them for other people. I cant believe the size of house some people are building, All though I love building the bigger houses. I like getting to see what I have done at the end of the day. I really like doing handcut roofs and building stairs and things that require greater attention to detail. I like how I get to do all the different parts of the job, We build the foundation, frame them, and do the finishing. On those two houses it was me, my boss, and my boss's brother doing all the work. On smaller houses its just my boss and me. I really like building things, next month I am going in for my final 6 weeks of school then Im a journeyman and am probably going to start my own company.

yup but i take it on the "lay-low" since this truck is registered to under 26,000lbs which i can drive with a class C but with the air brakes and tranny im not too sure if im gonna be okay if i were to get pulled over by a CHP, it used to be a fifth wheeler and was registered to under 56,000 lbs and was converted to a dump truck but once i get my class A ill be able to drive this and more, hopefully

Hey Claude, just thinking out loud here. You aughta put together some color catologues of your carvings. Drop them off at the log homs builders and/or sawmills. Get into carving fixture in the log homes. Totem pole posts, railings, etc. A good strat might be Allen Holmes' sawmill in Tustin. When you see the house he just built for himself, you'll know why. One example would be the whole cedar tree for his circular stairway.
