Winter project...Breakfast Bar
I needed more circulation in my house, only opening was a door between LR an DR so I came up with this project....This wall is solid 8 inch logs, cut them on each side with a circular saw giving me 2 1/2 to 3 inch scour on each side, finished with saws all. Then framed in with a 2x6 rough cut and predrilled and used 3/8 lags to hold everything in place plus angle iron in all corners. Built counter top for tile counter. Still have staining to do an haven’t set the tile or grouted yet, can only do so much staining in a air tight house, thankfully its warm enough to keep a couple windows cracked…Pics of Before an after from LR side.
LOL sent same pics to mom and a friend....they both asked the same question plus where he went. guess he feeds on Ak skeeters an ran off from the bangin or cussin.
I have been known to colect crab spiders and put them on plants in the greenhouse, luv watchin them hunt/feed.

I wish I was as fine, as those who work the pipeline!

Kinda funny how in your second post you perfectly framed the mountains in the background and then all of the sudden there is a living room behind it. Decided to go ahead and build an addition while you were at it huh??
Man you Alaskans are adventurous!!!

Looks good, Nice Job!!!
