wife graduates tonight!!

I am exited! Tonight 4 years of hard work have finally payed off. She is getting an associates degree in Dental Hygiene. Im so glad this is over. Now I may reap the rewards of my investment..lol, just kidding. I am very proud of her. This program is pretty tough because the students have to find all thier own patients. It has been very stressfull on her.

The results of her state board exam come in next week, and on May 14 she takes her WREB Exam. So please pray for her! The WREB exam is the practical one. She has to clean a patients teeth in order to get her certification. I have faith she will pass, its just a test that have to take to demonstrate their profieciency.

anyway, I just thought I would spread some good news!!

Congrads, my X went thru that and made it when we were together. It was tough, she was in school out of town. She`ll be able to find work easy and be high in demand with good$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Time for you to take a vacation while she pays

Congrats to the better half.

If I had known she needed more pts. to practice on I could have helped you out there.

I could have just mailed mine to her to clean.

Have a good one !

Congrats to her and you on a job well done. I think she will have plenty of opportunities and it gives you guy's some lattitude in searching for where you may want to live as well.

PK, tell your wife congratulations and give her a big hug. I'll add her to my prayer list. Be sure and keep us posted on the upcoming events, test results, etc.

We are getting a hotel room friday night near the medical center where she will be taking her practical test. We want to be close so she can get some good sleep, and not have to worry about her test on Sat. morning. Its a 1.5 hour drive to the hospital from home.

My grandpa is going under the knife Friday as well. He has some cancer in one of his kidneys, and they are going to remove it. He is 81. I am going to head over to the hospital where he is at while the wife is testing.

Thanks everyone.

Talking

Congratulations, my youngest daughter is going through the same thing. As much time and schooling they put in they should all get their cert without any test. I know my daughter has been also working with a dentist as she is going to school. Out here in Oregon they only take a selected few each year into the dental hygenist program. Good luck to your wife.

Thats cool Reelay.

Down here they have to pass 3 tests after they graduate.

1. Jurisprudence EXam (she made an 88)
2. National Board Exam (got test scores in yest. 5/10, she made an 81)
3. WREB (she takes this Saturday. Its the practical portion. )

The girls had to take a mock Jurisprudence exam at the school. It was to prepare them for the real thing. ONly bad part was, it counted as 50% of their grade. 2 girls have to repeat thier last semester because they failed by 1 point. (lowest you can make is a 75.) I think that sucks.

Wife said that the state J.P. test was allot easier than the mock J.P. she took at the school. So I think those 2 girls got screwed.
