Who is a math genius?

I have two different reliability numbers, and I need to find out the difference in reliability. I am drawing a blank. Is it as simple as subtracting the two or is it a formula like (R2-R1)/R1. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a reliability on onepart of the problem that is 81.28% on the other part of the problem I have a reliability of 87.62%. the next part of the question is what is the difference in reliability between the two? I am trying to figure out if it is trick question and to just subtract or use the formula above.

You're dealing with statistics, so you have to use statistics. I don't remember the formula but it's not that simple. I remember a sigma in there, or some junk. The actual math is pretty simple but since people get degrees in Stats, they want to make it seem official so they write the formula's all weird like.

*****edit, I misinterpreted your question. I'm thinking of a whole different ballgame of numbers, my apologies.
