Calgary Alberta here, about 7-8" we broke a 111 year old record for cold temps here yesterday was -39c + windchill. so weird getting the cold freeze so early in the year we usually don't hit this till mid jan.

I remember that very well. We live outside of town and our power was out for 3 days. We have well water and so when there is no power, there is no WATER!! So I pretty much washed my face a little and that was all we could do. After the power came back on the first shower I had gotten to take in 3 days felt very very nice. The roads where I live are always the last to be salted etc. So it always takes a couple of days to get around through town out here.

We just got a fresh 1/2" drop of..............rain last night/this morning. It is 65* here and winter doesn't seem to be in sight.

I was out on a location on the side of a mountain working near Chetwynd, BC from Nov. 4-26. Between those dates, we had over 11.5 feet of snow fall. The loader and bobcat ran 24 hours for a week just to keep the lease clear.

These pics were taken roughly mid month. I haven't downloaded the rest from my camera yet - have one showing snow over the windows on the wellsite shack and above the trucks.
