My dad has a 2003 dodge 1500, that needs a new 318, or what ever the smaller V8 is, lol , due to and oil pump going out, and scoring the crank and pistons , where would be the best place to get a crate motor for it, Thanks .

 

If the motor isn't rebuildable, you can try salvage or autozone.

Drop into any local auto parts place, Napa , Carquest , ETC , they all sell crate engines.

 

Summit Racing, They have or can get just about anything you need. I don't think I would buy a motor from my local autozone.
