However, the problem explicitly states that the plane cannot move faster than the conveyor belt. So, more or less, the problem parameters override what would really happen.

And so, the argument agonizes anon.

And Madhat started it.
Ok, that explaines it. No, the plane would not take off. I agree. Not unless you put JDAM's on it. (I think that is what they are...)

You're right Madhat...I shouldn't have perceived you to be the bad guy. I keep forgetting you're the hat that takes all his recruits out for a home cooked meal and manicures after a long week of work

Besides working, I race oval track asphalt stock cars, ride a Yamaha Nytro snowmobile in winter, and Polaris ATVs in warmer months when I'm not racing.

I thought they did that for themselves

I work, custom trim work, cut firewood with my dad, lots of concerts, and hunt things with wings. And hang out with my wife a lot.

Madhat your mean, I would put JATO rockets on it, not blow it apart with Joint Directed Air Munitions.

I kill deer and waterfowl. With great enthusiasm, I might add. Fish tend to fear me greatly, but I let most of them go. Beer drinking and creative swearing are part time hobbies. (They go together well.)
