When your working don't stop moving. You stop or sit down you'll start feeling how tired you really are.

Very simple...consider and go for a career where in 30 years your first thought when you wake up in the morning is..."I can't wait to get to work...!"

It's called, your calling, as Christians would often say. Life is too short to do anything else.

All I can say, eat right, get a good amount of sleep and excersise regularly. You'll feel a lot better no matter what your doing. Helps me get through the day and keeps my energy levels up.

I quit coffee, pop, fast food, etc. All that crap will just kill your inside and make you feel like crap. Stay away from lots of sugars, carbs, and fat (some are ok though). Make sure you get lots of water and veggies too. They have a lot of good redeeming qualities.

Oh, and yes Im a student too.

When I worked, many times it was 12 to 16 hour days. Heathy snacks, lots of water and short Power Naps. 10-15 minutes, of what was left of lunch. During long drives, stop every 2-3 hours, get out, potty, brisk walk, 5 minute power nap, snack and hit the road again.

consider those who aren't working for various reasons- can't find a job, layed off, insufficient skills, illness, Be thankful you have a job you enjoy and pays well. Many would give much to be in your position. Enjoy your blessings!

By posting this, you know what I do to get through the day - however - as far as the energy drink goes... I can't stand any of the energy drinks out there - the carbonated fake sugar taste makes me - but I found this one that I really like - its noncarbonated and tastes like orange juice.... it is 100% juice... called Rumba. hard to find at stores (Costco carries it) but it works wonders for me on those days I am just really tired. But like someone else mentioned - keep moving - start to relax and your body remembers its tired....

I like to get away from work during lunch. Even a 20 minute walk will re-juvinate you. A complete change of scene is good for the head.

Have to agree with this too...know several people who never leave thier desks for lunch, don't tend to socilize much at lunch. Know what? They look and act tired, dried up and worn out. Too commited, chained to a desk, and even our company does not encourage that...but they slog it along anyway...

Thankfully most poeple enjoy being with others for lunch, having short casual conversation throughout the day, and just in gerneal, being human. I've found it's good practice, overall...

i can't believe i missed that most obvious one of all though, "just keep moving" and how true is that. man i can't wait to try out all these things at my new job, plus, it gives me a reason to start eating better.
