Well I'll Be A Daisy....

.....if it ain't snowing in Texas. Two inches of nice, wet powder on the ground and still falling good. I owe the weatherman an apology. I accused him of lying when I heard the forecast.

And the crazy weather man is saying we might get 1-2" here. Look out, they are gonna make a run on the bread and milk at the stores . If people here see 2 1/2 snow flakes, they freak out

The problem with Texas & snow is there's probably only one snow shovel in the whole state.

I got a picture from my buddy in Michigan... seems they have a town named after 'that hot place' and you can guess what happens in Michigan in winter.

Yep, it snowed, and the best kind of snow at that. The roads are all clear and the fields are all white. Been out hunting coyotes. Easy to see when it’s like this. Hoss, we got a little more down here about 3.5”. Grandkids are on the way down so hunting will stop and the snowman building will start.

Let's see... 22 million people divided by 4 = 5.5 million vehicles and not one has all-season tires... Honey, why don't we stay home tonight?

I've got all season tires. AND know how to use 'em. Though, I did grow up in ME. I'm just stuck down here temporarily.... This was from my back door at 5:45 AM before I went to work today.

bigfoot, ah yes. Thanks for reminding me. Another great day down here. More brilliant blue sky, no wind yet, warm sun. It sure feels nice to be outside in my shorts and flip flops. Leaving for church soon with only an open neck shirt and no sweater or jacket. No doubt in a few hours will have the A/C on in the truck.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. So niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiccccccccccce!
Snow? Just a distant memory, jogged occasionally by the posts of some poor sap digging out of it.
Hmmmmmm.. wonder if I am rubbing it in too hard?
