Lary, that is a funny one. Wonder what that doctor thought when he opened up that sheet? Reminds of when I was headed in for a colonoscopy. The "put me to sleep" guy came and said he was going to put in my injection and wanted me to count backwards from 100. So I did - - making up my mind that if possible, I was staying awake as long as possible. I fought it and was down to like 83 but was starting to feel it. I stopped and asked him how far he wanted me to go. He said look, you are supposed to be asleep now. I asked him is that what he wanted me to do. By this time everyone, including the doc were really laughing. He said YES, GO TO SLEEP. I said OK, OK, why didn't you tell me that in the first place. Goodnight - - and I just barely made it through all that and was gone to the sound of everyone having a good laugh, including him.

I faked that I went to sleep immediately and then I started rambling a crib count, then I asked that they please do not muss up my hair...

I almost got the airway while I was awake.

Morning folks. I see that some of you were in fine shape yesterday and that Scotty is feeling his oats again. All your jokes and shenanigans made me smile. Good stuff.

Too busy to check in yesterday and was on the road at daybreak. Got home tired and dirty as usual for a Monday. It is very tiring to drill large, deep holes in solid concrete while perched on top of a ladder. While on the ladder, just cannot lean into the hammer drill to push very hard. Only needed to relocate one hole after I hit some rebar.

The rain has tapered off here. Been hearing from different people that the rain we had over the weekend probably broke all records.

Loaned my generator to some folks and they managed to half tear out the fuel shutoff valve from the bottom of the gas tank, causing the fuel to run directly on into the end of the generator. It boggles my mind to even try to figure out how this was possible. It is going to be pain to replace that because I know that it will be necessary to install a new shutoff valve into the bottom of the plastic fuel tank. The trick is to find the parts that I will need. May need to do something completely different and adapt to the parts that are available. JBWeld may be coming to the rescue again. Never used it for long term exposure to gasoline, so hope it will hold on. Sometimes it does not pay to try to be a nice guy. Seems that again and again, I end up paying and with problems!!!!

OK, off to try and do something useful. Wait, first need another coffee.
Ahhhh..... bye.

Stan. Don't know about gas for sure, but I couldn't get an oil filtering (gravity) system to not leak no matter what till in desperation I tried ShoeGoo. Still in place and oil tight after 3 years.

That is some amazing stuff.

Nice scam there. The first place that comes up in a google search for "pennsylvania birth certificate" wants $78 to process it. By mail it's $20. Scroll down half a page, to find the state's online vendor, and it's $20. No wonder the other company comes up first, with a 300% mark-up, they can afford to make it come up first. And they hold the order for 10 days if you don't pay another $18 to have it sent UPS.

Hope I can sleep now that my blood pressure's up.

Morning all today's breakfast is being handled by Tudors biscuit world. They have a sandwich called the Politican is full of bologna.

There's fresh coffee Ph00 hot water sweet tea on the counter the Ph00 is a special blend.

Poured a barrel of tequila in the dragon so he'd warm the place up

Morning peoples. Thanks Clint for the coffee. It's too early for bologna, so may come back later.

Nice day yesterday and today is supposed to be even nicer. I will take it.

Yesterday decided to replace the leaky line between the compressor on truck truck and the pressure gauge on the dash. Went to Parker to buy more 1/8" plastic pipe, but they could not match the sample I gave them. Told them anything would work as long as it has a minimum working pressure of 150 psi. They came back with a tube with a working pressure of 500 psi!!!! Hmmmm, think that will work? Never knew that plastic tubing could take a pressure as high as that. The wall thickness is almost twice what I have been using.

j martin, never heard of ShoeGoo, but will now look for it. Thanks for the info.

Off to see what trouble I can get into today.
