just got off teh phone with Gunney Garrison. It would seem that he already has the young mans name, as a prior service Marine( LTC Gelhaus, my boss, none the less) had already called him last night about this.....
I now feel almost sorry for the young man.....not....

I wonder how long they're going to "adjust" him before they let him know what's broke.

Morning

Weather is same old same old, still -20 or so. No new snow so am saving $$ on fuel on that end of things. Gas company is getting it now.

Chris sounds like the young man in question is in a lot of doo doo. Maybe it's a good thing Hat isn't there. Although I wouldn't mind watching him teach the young guy a self defense training session, might be worth a giggle.

Heidi on the count down to fun in the sun. Good thing you have a week to rest up before your trip.

Claude that just sounds like weird weather, light show and snow WOW.

Fronty I have a buddy that might be going to Russia with Fluor for a year. Not exactly sure where in the country. 9 weeks in and 3 out. Same latitude as I'm at now is what he was saying so same temps etc. Building a Ethanol plant. Do you know what you need to travel over there?

Catch you later. Have fun and drive safe.

Mornin' all,

Cool 43*F convert to C ((43+40)x5/9)-40=6.1*C. Supposed to be sunny and warm up to the lo 60s or so. Can't complain about the weather. No snow, rain or high winds. Had morning gruel, eggs, toast and.
Time for another cuppa, unruly donut. Good job this AM Old Dog.
Cheeees, the night watchman sure can make a lot of noise in the morning. Guess he wants us to know he has been on duty keeping us safe thru the night. Now we need to protect him from the attatk kitty. Kitty 1 ChrisR Great post about it.

Wannabe, you still out having fun with sis-n-law. Tuff job keeping up with some people. Nappy time? Have a nephew that is a guard in the NY state prison system, been there a long time. Doing well and likes it.
Don't pass on the BBQ iguana, tastes like chicken.

Fronty, if you got your druthers, take the job that keeps you feet planted on the solid ground. IMHO. Some of my co-workers when I was working had to go out to off shore rigs. No one volentered for that job.

HAT hope the fix um up surgery goes well. Speedy and full recovery.

Job jar has rip CDs and download MP3 player for kiddletts. I was impressed with the quality of the sound of those little things. 1 gig of storage built in.

Landing zone clear, CIN

Have a good un, and be safe out there.

Well, I didn't get my "druthers". I got assigned to Kaz and Brunei was told they weren't getting anyone.

As far as traveling in Russia, I dont know. Kazakhstan, take cash. both US and the local. For Kaz, you need $70 in US currency. The bills need to be in good condition. Credit cards are not accepted in many places.
From what I hear, russia is fairly cheap once you get away from Moscow.
I have been told that your only allowed to take 10 disks (harddrives, cds, dvds, etc) into most of these countries.

Mornin... Foo, sludge, tea, and bfast sammiches are on... bacon egg and cheese crosants...

Ma, I usually shoot up a red star cluster when things go really bad, the color of smoke is usually defined in the patrol order, or for immediate evac, over com.

Gotta a few man land chores to do today, no mommy, just the oldest son.

Had an interesting dinner thursday night at ruby tuesdays... lets just say I got my dinner for free, and all I ate was the ribs. I almost popped a gasket, I was so upset about my service. That is the first time I have ever complained to the point that the manager gave me a free meal, and I hate it when it comes to that. I was nice, tho... REALLY!!!

Hope everyone is having a good day. Gonna do a little more admin work here at my second job (DTR) and wait for the rain to clear, then get to it.

Chris, how is the cat and your arm/hand/leg/dog?
