That cupo-capo is good but it's a buck ten a cup. Tea is about 13 cents and is readily available by my automatic tea brewer (the wife). I save the capo for special about once or twice a week ocassions.
Now all I need is some crumpets.......
A "spofoftea and crumpets". Cool. :

I'm back!!!!!!!!!!!
Trip was sucessful. I want you folks to know, I got around $250,000 in "new" parts that were in the process of going to property disposal because there was an "excess" number of them. They weren't excess to me. At least your tax money didn't get wasted this time.
Just the sitting in one spot for 6 hours is a pain. I set the cruise at 2000 rpm and let her roll. Averaged 17.5 mpg at ~78 mph. Can't fuss about that.
The place was a zoo. A lot of people jumping thru their hiney to try and get equipment shipped out.
Tomorrow will be a long day. Probably got close to 200 e-mails to deal with.
Outa here, got a low level beer alarm.

shortround out
You know, there is a lot of people out there that could give a rat's hiney where the money comes from, as long as they have all that they can spend.
I can sit here and actually relate to what many of those ignorant sob's are thinking. It goes somewhat like this.
"I get $1000 for maintenance of equipment this year. I have the option of either repairing or replacing whatever breaks. If I spend the entire amount to replace what broke, I'm SOL. I have to wait until the next years appropriation. However, If I repair that item, bring it back up to standards, and get it back out to the grunt that has to use it, I have saved money and time. At the end of the year, I have money left over, because I repaired instead replaced. I now have to spend what surplus I have in order to get the same amount, or more, next year."
What Ivy League educated, draft dodging, non serving, basking in the light of his/her own self importance, stupid piece of crap, come up with this?
I have vented.
I'm not even going to get into why I didn't get ANY ANY 9mm ammo for marksmanship.

shortround is sacking out for the night.

SR, I'm all too aware of the way the taxpayer $$$ is wizzed away on Sept 30 of every year. >
It still amazes me how that much $$$,$$$,$$$,$$$ can be spent/wasted in ONE EVENING.

GGGGGGGOOD MMMMMMORNIN' DDDTTTTTRRRRR.
Dang it's cold this AM
about 5* when I went out to fire-up the sleeping beast. Even plugged in it took about 15 seconds for the Wait To Start light to go out.
Stay warm, the forcast is for anywhere from 2" to 6" of the white stuff starting around the evening rush hour.

Not sure I get the gist of SR's last post but I'm glad there are people out there like him that care about our dollars. My dad use to work for a well known rail road up north years ago. He said at inventory time at the end of the year, he was told to take pallet loads of brand new with the sticker still on never used 48 inch Rigid pipe wrenches out to the scrap yard. They had to take a torch and cut the wrenches in half, burn the jaws out of them, and throw them in the scrap car because they could not be accounted for. That would make me sick. Course, that's part of the reason the railroad has been sold several times and is no longer operating under the original name.

With that said, my cup-o-capo is real good this morning SH. Went all out, a whole buck ten this morning. You are a bad influence on me from yesterday complaining about me drinking tea.

I feel like feces though. This cold is hanging on and a few other things bothering me aren't helping.

Have a lovely and safe day and watch those dollars.

I'm just about to the point of asking him for some. Either that or go to the liquor store and buy some 190 proof Everclear, that'l burn it out. for sure.
He could market that stuff kinda like Granny's Elixir on the Beverly Hillbillies.
OOPS, now I've done it. Can't say hillbilly any more.
They're Appalachian Americans.

Oops, I did it again as Brittney would say.
