The top Canadian athlete and World Super Series Champ is going to be travelling around with wee Scotty promoting the competition May 17/18 today.<br>This weekend we have the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation coming to film the training camp. ;D<br><br>I need more then coffee for this wknd. :'(

Mornin all. Suppose to be a bit cooler today, but dry out finally. We needed the rain though. Fishings been slow and the mushrooms have been scarce. Did some pump tweeking the other day ;D ;D. Lots of landscaping/spring cleaning and a little habitat improvement in the creek at my cabin.

Moring to all,<br> Could not sleep so got up as I was disturbing my wife. Still dark outside but looks nice outside. About 65 degrees and calm. Just got my first coffee before checking the international news on my computer. Read about 4 newspapers around the world every morning including DTR. Have an 8 am breakfast meeting and at ths rate will be coffeed out by the time I get there.

 

Morning all,<br> Yesterday we got a call from the wife of a Marine friend of mine fighting in the war. Apparently his chopper crashed recently (anyone see this on the news ??) and she has not heard of his status. A couple other wives have heard from their husbands but she has only received three e-mails from his CO ... which didn't tell her much more than they had a hard landing, rolled over and blew up. She said she has learned more from watching the news.<br><br> I never heard about it ... been in my own ricebowl lately, I guess. I hope he's ok ...<br><br>PISTOL<br><br>

 

As I am the only person present on the hill and in the general area of the Bat Cave, I hereby declare that today, Friday 2 May 2003, is &quot;home project day&quot;. Should have enough time to do an oil and filter(s) change, change brake pads, clean out the inside, and pressure wash (for those of us in the south, it's warsch) the underside of the truck.
