getting a bit of the winter precip now. Might be rain, freezing rain, sleet, snow or a mix
Guess I'll hang out in the Bat Cave and keep warm.

The media induced hysteria has begun.
Snow is coming, go out and buy bread and milk, run and hide, take cover, save yourselves!!!!

There is something wrong with me.
I enjoy watching people panic

That's what people usually say when they see me making the coffee.

Got all of a dusting of snow here last night. I dunno if I can make it to the woodlot or not. If no one hears from me by this time tomorrow, send out the search parties!

Anyone know of a source for 3 point hitch landscape rake teeth? I'm building a rake and need 48 of 'em. They want almost 8 bucks a piece for them locally and there's no way I'm paying that much!

Ok, I'm off to the woodlot. Everyone stay safe!

Mornin' fellow DTronians,
Cold morning down in sunny Florida - - wow, what a difference a day makes, 24 little hours - - - oh well, enough singing for the rest of this day. Rather nippy out - - had to wear a light jacket - - down in the high 40's last night, heading to 69 today. Sunday's high will only be 58. Man, I can't remember a high in the 50's for years. Who said something about a warming trend????

OK, enough resting, outside and finish waxing the fiver. Wow that thing is big when you are waxing it. You think you will never reach the end of it, then realize there is another side just like it plus two ends. Who's idea was this anyway. Maybe a toilet brush would help the process.

Rain sleet and snow
Everyone in a panic 'cause a bit of ice is forming on the windshield.
Truck is sipping some of that hi test Army 'lectricity in preparation for a recon of the highway toward Weather Dry Creek.
Feels like a Monday with all the meetings.
Time for some sardines and jalapeno peppers for lunch.

Sun , sun and more sun down here. Unforunately we do have a bit of a coolish breeze and the temp is a freeeeeeezing 72 degrees.
All in all, a normal day for this time of year.
Washed the truck this morning and now it needs washing again as I was on some dirt roads.

I agree on the weather but the temp is more like 32*F up here in Idaho... But it is a nice Sunny day! It's even worth putting on some shades!

I'm out in the backyard cutting down two older trees. I'm getting to use the Cummins like a mini skidder... I love the pure power!

Looks like we are getting ready to get our first "sigificant" snowfall of the year.
They're calling for 1-15 inches.
If they say 2-4 that means a dusting. 6+, we could get 2-3, 8-10 we might get 3-6 and so on.

Snow around here is a field day for the media, it gives them something else to try to scare us about when they run low on the useless crap they feed us.

Guess I'll run out to the store and join the other 3,000 people getting bread and milk............
Why do people DO that?? It's so dumb, like your going to snowed in the house long enough to eat 30 slices of white bread and a gallon of milk??
