Anybody else ever had trouble with Yahoo! fantasy football? I created a league a week ago with my buddies...got everyone set up...teams drafted...the whole 9 yards. Then on Saturday night when I tried to log in to our league page it said that my email account had been cancelled. I now had no way to log in or access our league's commissioner tools!

Let me explain...When I moved out of our old house I cancelled our DSL account with sbcglobal.net (affiliated with Yahoo!). After my account with them was cancelled, my email address with them still worked so I continued to use it for months afterward.

It just so happens that SBC (now AT&T) decided months after cancelling that now they would cancel my email address. Since I signed up our league with this email address (sbcglobal is considered a Yahoo! account), our league is S.O.L. Of course I tried contacting Yahoo! about the matter and SBCGlobal but they gave me the usual run around how they can't do anything about it and they do apologize!

Arghhh.....I had Tom Brady as my QB! All they can do is apologize?

Long story short...we now have to create a new league and do a re-draft. Some of my buddies were a little ticked to say the least! Others were jumping for joy because they had a bad team.

Use this as a warning...don't sign up for Yahoo! FF with anything other than a standard Yahoo! email account!

Consider it a blessing then. I have 4 yahoo fantasy teams, and one ESPN team...

I am only concerned about opne team, as it was a mediocre draft for me, as I have a mediocre running back set but good QB and WR's...



On a serious note...That is pretty crappy of them to do you that way.
