I've been having issues with my FASS pump freezing up overnight with -18F treated diesel. It's been frozen the last 2 mornings. Monday it was 7F and Tuesday it was 2F. The truck's been plugged in both times, but the FASS pump back by the fuel tank freezes. The pump will run for about 3 revolutions and it stops.
After 30 minutes with a propane heater it works again.
I managed to talk my buddy into shooting the video for me:

Mine will cear up after 2-3 minutes at 0F (haven't seen colder yet since I've had the Diesel)
I think your fuel isn't quite treated enough.
Might want to look into running straight #1 if you're still seeing freezing.

I've got ~18 gallons of fuel in the tank and 16oz of PowerService white bottle stuff and 16oz of Howes Diesel Treat. I'm pretty sure that the Mach 6 injectors are the cause of the smoking. It cleaned up to a slight blue haze about 10 minutes later after driving around town.
