Vista Help
So far, I am liking Vista Home Premium pretty well.
But,
, I have a problem. I'm trying to import my .wab phone book from Outlook to Windows Mail. According to the help files it should do it, but when I go to the HD where .wab file is, it does not recognize it.
Anyone know how to do it, or maybe have a link?

I could be wrong but I don't believe you can do that with the OEM version of MS Mail. You need to upgrade MS Mail to MS Mail Deluxe to get that functionality.
I just bought a new PC with Vista on it and ran into the same problem. Spent a bunch of time on the net and found out that it probably requires a mail upgrade.
Will be monitoring this post to see if someone comes up with a better solution.

You do have the files imported, correct? Here's what Wikipedia defines:

The way it sounds, must not have the appropriate program.

You should be able to import wab into Vista's Windows Mail no problem.
File-import-windows contacts-windows address book- browse to file.
Or, another roundabout way if it definitely is not working, is you could always take that WAB file to a WinXP machine and then open it and export as a CSV file. Then return to Windows Mail and when prompted for type choose csv.
I've dont it a jillion times for customers, it should go smoothly.
